All The Queen’s Men creator Christian Keyes is airing out some grievances with Tyler Perry.

Keyes recently came to social media to accuse Perry of trying to steal his creative credit on the BET+ show, according reports by The Root and Black Enterprise. Keyes created and stars the show, which is based on his book, Ladies Night.

He said that Perry’s alleged actions, as well as the state of All The Queens’ Men under Perry’s are “shady” and “corny.” Keyes, who The Root cited as stepping away from BET in 2025 after experiencing “dismissive,” “disrespectful” and unprofessional actions, said in a new Instagram Live this week that he is relieved to not be in a working relationship with BET or Perry anymore.

“I’m not sad that my show isn’t there anymore. After Season 5, my show won’t be there anymore, and I won’t have to deal with that kind of shady, corny leadership over there,” he said. “…You got 16-17 shows, I got one. Let me have credit. My contract says I get credit, why your corny a** trying to steal my credit? ‘Cause you can’t write like me.”

“It’s you putting the show out there, but you’re also the same studio, Tyler Perry Studios, that removed my creative credit,” he continued. “I had to call a union to have them make you, force TPS to put it back on there.”

He also described Seasons 2 and 3 of All The Queen’s Men, which aren’t written by Keyes, as “weird” now that they were under Perry’s creative control.

“Season 2 and Season 3 was when All the Queen’s Men got weird and dudes started getting raped with dildos and all that weird s**t,” he said. “Don’t nobody wanna see that s**t. Put that on your show. That’s why I’m glad my show ain’t there, put that on Oval or Bruh or Sistas or whatever. Put that bulls**t on your show.”

The live comes as Perry is already under fire for more sexual harassment and assault allegations. Boo! A Madea Halloween actor Mario Rodriguez accused Perry of groping him and seeking sexual favors against Rodriguez’s will. The accusations are similar to those levied in 2025 by another Perry actor, Derek Dixon.

Perry denies both accusations. Keyes also alleged in 2023 that a high-powered Black Hollywood executive tried to commit sexual assault against him. However, Keyes never confirmed or denied if it who he was speaking about.
